JLL AUSTRALIA TO RELOCATE SYDNEY HEADQUARTERS TO SYDNEY PLACE
JLL, Australia’s largest commercial property services firm, today announced it will be moving its Sydney headquarters to the new landmark Sydney Place development at 180 George Street, set to be completed next year.
The global real estate services firm, which specialises in commercial property and investment management, will occupy c. 3,532sqm across levels 25-27 of Salesforce Tower, the precinct’s flagship commercial tower, following a relocation from 420 George Street.
Developed and constructed by Lendlease, in a joint venture with China’s Ping An Real Estate and Japan’s Mitsubishi Estate Asia, Sydney Place will be a key feature of the Circular Quay precinct regeneration, revitalising the northern end of the CBD with laneways, retail, dining, and a new public square.
As industry leaders in workplace and office leasing, JLL’s decision to relocate its headquarters demonstrates that connected, flexible and sustainable modern workplaces are in demand. Salesforce Tower represents the highest standards in wellness, sustainability and technology, and will be a place that fuels performance, innovation and collaboration.
Employing a people-focused design approach, the 263-metre tower – which will become Sydney’s tallest office building – has already been awarded a Platinum WELL rating and is targeting 6 Star Green Star and 5.5 Star NABERS Energy ratings.
JLL Australia will join anchor tenant, Salesforce, which will occupy levels 34-53 and Greenhouse, a new hub for climate technology and innovation by Investible on levels 1-3.
JLL has been appointed to provide property management services for the 180 George Street development, in addition to leasing the commercial office space.
JLL’s Energy & Sustainability Services team is targeting 6 Star Green Star credentials for the new JLL Sydney office tenancy. JLL’s office fit-out is being designed by its in-house teams of Workplace Strategy and Interior Workspace Design, managed by JLL’s Project Management business.
